Andrew Hull has always had a keen interest in birds and animals alike.  He landed his dream job in 2000 when he joined Cobridge Stoneware and was asked to produce sculptures based on the models made by the Martin Brothers in the 1800's.  In 2005, Andrew formed his own company, Andrew Hull Pottery, and continues to create his current range of bird and animal models.  Each bird or animal designed by Andrew Hull is made in high-fired stoneware.  The body of this stoneware is made from clay as close as possible to the original stoneware clay used by the Martin Brothers. The beauty and uniqueness in following the old methods is that no piece will ever be identical.
