Royal Albert
In 1896 Thomas Clarke Wild, along with his father, bought the Albert Works in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent –a factory given its title to commemorate the birth of Prince Albert a year earlier. The following year, Thomas Wild & Co produced a range of commemorative pieces for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, an association with royalty that continues to this day. The company name, Royal Albert Limited, was later registered in 1906.

In celebration of Royal Albert's 100th anniversary, a collection of petite figures, plates, cups and saucers has been created to commemorate the company's longevity and commitment to excellence. Each figure has been decorated using a pattern and design chosen to represent the colors of each decade. A special backstamp has been created for each of these figures. The plate, cup and saucer are sold as a set and come beautifully packaged in a round anniversary gift box.
