A ROYAL FAMILY CELEBRATION: PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE
OCTOBER 9 – 11, 2015 | LONG BEACH, CA
Join Seaway China as we celebrate the legacy and heritage of the British Monarchy. 2015 marks several milestones within the Royal Family, including the birth of Prince William and Kate’s second child, Princess Charlotte, as well as Queen Elizabeth’s forthcoming record-breaking reign. Therefore, it’s only fitting that we celebrate these historical landmarks and remember those gone by aboard the equally regal Queen Mary—a ship rich with history, elegance and grandeur.
The Queen Mary
Once a world-class ocean liner, the Queen Mary now offers unique accommodations and a wide array of attractions that simply cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Take a glimpse into what transatlantic travel was like during the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Whether it’s the authentic polished wood paneling, the original 1930s artwork, the Art Deco style or the operable portholes, there’s no question that the Queen Mary is unlike any other hotel. With an impressive history and tradition of excellence, the Queen Mary is more than a place to rest your head – it’s an entire experience.
Royal Doulton Shopping
As part of the festivities, we will be bringing our latest collection of Royal Doulton Figures, Jugs, Stoneware and Commemoratives aboard the Queen Mary for a very special shopping event. For three days you’ll have the chance to browse through rare pieces and add a bit of royal history to your own collection.
Diana: Legacy of a Princess
The current exhibition aboard the Queen Mary showcases a priceless collection of evening gowns, dresses, personal accessories, photographs, heirlooms and other cherished memorabilia associated with Princess Diana and the Royal Family. Discount admission for our group is $18 per person. After the tour be our guest for a complimentary high tea.
A Royal Banquet for the Senses
Feast your eyes as well as your palate as we take you on an excursion to one of the most astounding private Royal Doulton collections in the country. After the tour, you will be treated to a dinner fit for royalty.
