A Royal Doulton Sung Flambé Veined Vase, circa mid-20th century, shape number 1618, spherical body with slender neck, and a frothy blue texture on the bulb. It has deep striated reds ending in a mottled blue lower area. The vase is of globular form rising to a slender straight neck, richly glazed in blood red with modulating and textured swirls of red, blue, and yellow, thicker towards the base; backstamp underside.
