There was a time when the big bands of the likes of Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Count Basie filled dance floors with young people who thrilled to the exciting sound. This was the golden era of swing. Following the success of Passionate Tango and Elegant Foxtrot, the series now brings us another invitation to dance. Lets Swing transmits all the energy and fun of the time, the decades of the 1930s, 40s and 50s, when the whole world swung to the virtuoso sounds of the original kings of rhythm. The sculptors consummate talent can be seen in the gestures and sense of movement we can almost hear the music and the clicking of fingers.
