A Bernard Moore Pottery model for Royal Doulton of a pug dog, playing with a ball, covered in a red flambé glaze with yellow patches. Bernard Moore monogram. Renowned master potter Bernard Moore (1850 – 1935) specialized in glazing effects, particularly Sung style flambé glazing in crimson, scarlet, yellows and blues. In 1905, he set up a studio in Stoke with his son Bernard Joseph Moore, likely dating this piece between 1905 and 1915.
