“Honey Peddler” was part of the Lladro “Children with Animals” figures collection. It was modeled by Juan Huerta, issued in 1969, and retired in 1978. It depicts a boy sitting on the back of a donkey, hawking the wares in his honey pots, which rest in the burro’s saddle bags. Sculpted, painted, and finished by hand in Valencia, Spain.
