Marguerite HN1946 – Royal Doulton Figurine

“Marguerite” is a Royal Doulton figure designed by Leslie Harradine, and issued from 1940 to 1949. Painted in a red, blue, and green colorway, it is modeled as a woman wearing a feathered bonnet and long dress, holding a bouquet of white flowers to her face. The figure was inspired by a calendar design entitled “Summer Breeze,” by 20th century artist Stanislaus S. Longley.
