Modern Piper is a Royal Doulton figure designed by Leslie Harradine, and issued from 1925 to 1938. Painted in a blue, purple and lilac colorway, it depicts a young female Pied Piper, leading the village men away. It probably was inspired by a contemporary revue of the traditional story.
