“The Fair Taggly” depicts a fair-haired Gypsy from Barnet Horse Fair, the annual pleasure fair held near Barnet, England, every September since 1588. This model has a very unusual color variation, being depicted in a light blue dress, rather than polka dots. Designed by the master potter Charles Vyse and introduced in 1937.
