Whitley’s Auctioneers will be conducting a live auction on Saturday, January 18th in the main showroom. Central to this auction is a selection of Doulton pieces from the Charlie Brigg’s collection. Mr. Brigg’s has been an avid Doulton collector for more than 60 years and has assembled one of the most impressive collections in the United States. Highlights from his collection included in this sale will be a grouping of stellar Lambeth stoneware pieces, hand-painted vases from such legendary artists such as George White and Leslie Johnson as well as a grouping of Royal Doulton prototype and colorway figures.

Christopher Evans – Author, historian and Royal Doulton expert based in England.  Christopher will once again be taking guests on a tour of the showroom and auction discussing the many highlights to be purchased during the weekend.  

Louise Irvine – Director and Curator of the Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts in Florida.  A world-renowned ceramic expert, Louise will be opening the WMODA for our guests and discussing the latest acquisitions and exhibits to the museum.

Gwendolyn Reasoner – One of America’s foremost Fine Art Porcelain Authorities in American and English Porcelains specializing in Connoisseur Porcelains of Malvern, UK, Royal Worcester and early E.M. Boehm Porcelains. Gwendolyn will be discussing the Royal Worcester Complete Dorothy Doughty American and British Birds which will be on exhibit and available for purchase during the weekend auction.

Michael Doulton – Among our special guests will be Michael Doulton, the 6th descendant
of the Doulton family and the Brand Ambassador for the Royal Doulton Company. Mr. Doulton will be on hand to meet with collectors and sign your favorite pieces
