This jug was issued to recognize the 500th anniversary of Columbus’s voyage to America in 1492. It was created exclusively for the Royal Doulton International Collectors club and was issued in a limited edition of 7,500. The jugs was exhibited in the British Pavilion at Expo ’92 in Seville, Spain.
