The Elgar jug completes the eight-piece Great Composers collection. One of England’s greatest composers, Edward Elgar (1857 – 1934) is especially remembered for his Pomp and Circumstance marches, especially Land of Hope and Glory, which is traditionally part of the fitting climax to the Promenade Concerts Last Night of the Proms.
