Victorian London was alive with street vendors. In the early 20th century, the artists of Royal Doulton recreated these once-commonplace characters with a series of figurines, including “The Flower Seller’s Children,” who sit with their assortment of red and yellow roses to offer passersby. This Prototype was designed by legendary Doulton sculptor Leslie Harradine in 1929, and is hand painted in a colorway of royal blues, sunny yellow, ruby red, soft pink, mauve, and green.
