One of the Forty HN423F – Royal Doulton Figurine

“One of the Forty” is a miniature Royal Doulton figure designed by Harry Tittensor, and issued from 1921 to 1938. Painted in an olive, green and yellow colorway. It is modeled as one of the Forty Thieves dressed in a turban, with his hands holding a bag of treasure. “Ali Baba and The Forty Thieves” was a traditional oriental tale adapted for the operetta “Chu Chin Chow,” first performed in 1916.
