St George is a Royal Doulton figure, issued from 1950 to 1979, and based on a 1915 study by Stanley Thorogood. Modeled as an armored warrior, with blonde hair in a Prince Valiant style, and superb polychrome decoration. His warhorse is painted dappled grey, and is covered in a spectacular caparison with the Three Lions emblem of England.
