Royal Doulton Character Jug, During his public appearances in the 1970’s, Elvis became famous for wearing his “Easy Rider” sunglasses, which are featured on the front of the handle. Below the sunglasses are Elvis’ signature medallion and championship belt. Elvis wore these items during the 1971 Jaycee Awards, when he was selected as one of the 10 most Outstanding Men of the Year. Depicted on the back of the handle is the deputy badge that was awarded to Elvis and his entire entourage by the Shelby County Sheriff in 1970.
