Alexandra Victoria (1819 – 1901) succeeded her uncle William IV to the throne on her eighteenth birthday in 1837. Reigning until her death in 1901, she had a longer rule than any other British monarch, and her reign became know as one of the most peaceful in English history. This jug was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Queen Victoria, the longest reigning British Monarch.
