This richly colored loving-cup features the Queen in profile in her coronation robes above shields representing Scotland, England, and Wlaes with the Union Jack, the White Ensign, the Blue Ensign and the Scottish lion to the sides. She is attended by various countrymen including a Yoeman of the Guard and the Royal Trumpeters. Below is the legend ‘ELIZABETH II SILVER JUBILEE’. The reverse displays the Royal Coat of Arms with the motto ‘DIEU ET MON DROIT’. The names of all Commonwealth countries are incised either on or beneath the handles with their modelled lions’ heads.
