This small loving cup features a profile of George VI in coronation regalia with the legend ‘GOD SAVE THE KING’ below. To either side are flags representing the United Kingdom and the Royal Navy. On the reverse is a profile of the Queen, also in coronation regalia, with the legend ‘ELIZABETH R’ below. To her left is a flag of St. Andrew, Patron Saint of Scotland, with the Scottish lion on the right. Impressed below are thistles, shamrocks and roses. Around the rim, above the King and Queen respectively, are impressed S AFRICA, CANADA, GEORGE R I, AUSTRALIA, INDIA and S AFRICA, AUSTRALIA, OUR QUEEN, CANADA, N ZEALAND.
